Lake Cahuilla at LaQuinta Ca: by walking back and forth along the
shore, the fisherman is able to fish out in the lake WITHOUT a boat! (Spectators
usually are dumbfounded)!
|
Below , the floater is out about 100 yards and still going
even though there was a slight onshore breeze. Walking along shore is pulling the
floater out into the lake even though there is no
current. Minutes before, there was a fellow
fishing from a little pedal-boat in this area.
He saw the floater coming out toward him and, with a puzzled look, pedaled off to the other side of the lake.

testimonials:
.“.....works as advertised. I can actually throw this thing in the water and be fishing in the time it takes me to launch my boat.” (Manuel, Bullhead City Az.)

“I use it in the Verde River and love it! I can actually maneuver the bait across the river and into likely looking areas without a boat. I like that!” Randy, Camp Verde Az.

About the TowFloatTM: by inventor, James H Burgess The idea of having a
device that can pull a fishing lure or bait
out into the water has been around for many years. I can
visualize a caveman using a crooked stick and some sinew to
get his bone-hook out into a running stream. Most have not been
successful commercially because they were too complicated, dived
under the surface when the relative water speed went above a certain
point, or just plain didn’t work! I have experimented for years with different shapes and have finally hit upon a shape for the floater which pulls the rig out into a running stream, doesn’t dive when the speed increases, but merely planes along the surface. Further real-world fishing experiments have fine tuned the TowFloaterTM. A unique slotted attach point causes the TowFloatTM to reverse direction when the line tension is released. This feature actually allows the fisherman to work the floater out into a STILL body of water by reversing his walk along the shore, each flip of the rod causes the floater to pull at about a 45 degree angle away from the fisherman. In addition the smooth top surface of the TowFloatTM allows it to cruise almost totally submerged in slow speed situations, which negates the effect of wind on the rig. The reversing feature also allows quick landing of a fish after hookup in a running stream or steering around obstacles in a lake. Simply flip the rod after hookup and the floater will run downstream towards the fisherman’s side of the stream at a rapid pace. It also allows the rig to be used for trolling and running on either side of the boat without any changes to the device. |
| This device will change the way thousands of
fishermen fish!
|
Trolling to the side of the boat is easy now!
To steer the floater to your favorite fishing spot, simply flip the rod tip until it is hovering over the spot!
